Cassandra M. Pereda joined Norris George & Ostrow PLLC in June of 2021. Ms. Pereda graduated from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2021, as a Chancellor’s Law Scholar. While in law school, Ms. Pereda participated in moot court, was a research assistant to a law school professor, represented a client through the Turner Family Community Enterprise Clinic, and was the Wellness Chair for the Vanderbilt Bar Association. Furthermore, Ms. Pereda was a law firm summer associate, interned with the in-house legal department of the Nashville Predators, and interned with the New York City Bar Justice Center’s Neighborhood Entrepreneur Law Project to offer pro bono legal services to small business owners.
Ms. Pereda graduated from Emory University with honors (Phi Beta Kappa) in 2017, where she earned a B.A. in Political Science and a B.A. in Psychology. Between her undergraduate studies and law school, she worked as a bankruptcy paralegal at a major New York City law firm handling the liquidation of high-profile clients, as well as interpreting and translating legal documents. Ms. Pereda presently serves as a law clerk, D.C. Bar pending. All work is supervised by a member who is licensed in the District of Columbia.
